Ants Invasion Information
Adam and the Ants Tribute Band Have Arrived!
Ants Invasion have truly made their mark in the Seattle musical landscape.
Their sensational Adam and the Ants tribute show started as just a glimmer in the eyes of singer Mitch Stevens.
He knew it was meant to be when only a few weeks later, he had assembled a crew of bandmates who were as dedicated to making this happen as he was.
With Adam Ant as a mutual influence, the decision was made to make this spectacle happen immediately.
One of the boys was such a rabid fan that in his teen years he was arrested for allegedly stealing Adams stage jacket. Luckily all charges were dropped.
The band have proven themselves worthy of being North Americas Premier Adam and the Ants Tribute with a stage show that authentically captures the
look and sound of the best of Adam Ant, from the early punk years through the swashbuckling phase and up to his chart topping success of America in the mid-late 80s.
Nothing is left out.
Ants Invasion has appeared at legendary night clubs including the Whiskey A Go-Go (Los Angeles), the Showbox (Seattle),
and the Knitting Factory (Hollywood). Audiences enthusiastically participate in the performances, singing along to the hits.
Check out what Seattle's weekly newspaper THE STRANGER
says about the band:
"And while we're going down memory lane, an enthusiastic crowd turned out for
Adam Ant tribute band Ants Invasion on Saturday, May 18 at Chop Suey.
For those who wonder whether or not they pulled it off, the answer is a definite yes"
Kathleen Wilson, The Stranger
"I guess I'm one of the
guilty when it comes to Ants Invasion, who do
such a dead-on tribute to Adam and the Ants that
it's impossible to not get caught up in the fun.
But we're talking costumes, two drummers, and
everything here, so I'll go see them again
because they're not just standing up there in
T-shirts and jeans. Know what I mean?"

WHAT THE FANS SAY
"I have to say after listening to
all three of the MP3s on your site, that Ants Invasion sent shivers down my spine. Absolutely awesome cover! They're all great covers, and I will definitely try to make it to one of your shows."
Salem, OR."
"Ok, so the show! Brilliant! Tribute Adam (while a tad taller) was perfect. The voice was there, the moves were there, the "big skull belt" was there.
Even down to the smallest details: each band member utilized scarves and warpaint to their fullest advantage. And after years of "t-shirts and jeans indie rock" in our region, seeing
Ants Invasion onstage was like some kind of wild circus of color and sound, stripping away the years of grunge that coated the walls of this particular Seattle a-list club."
